Cinemas

Copenhagen has a large number of cinemas showing all the latest films.

Imperial cinema opened in 1961 and has since then been renovated several times. It is one of the largest cinemas in Scandinavia, offering 26 premier films each year.

Dagmar Theatret opened in 1883 as a theatre. In 1939 the house was rebuilt and turned into a cinema. It has five cinemas and a nice café. The repertoire is typically for the mature adult audience.

Palads cinema is for the whole family - 17 cinemas and 2300 seats.
